Care and support work is one of the quick-to-start-work in the UK and it does not discriminate unlike many other jobs that are difficult to enter. But my experience and observation have shown me that majority of care and support workers appear to remain in the same position for many hears and do not know how to grow. This has affected their finances and it has been difficult for their various employers (recruitment agencies in most case) to increase their wages.
